From now on, every tourism experience in Mbya Guaraní communities includes a concrete environmental action. When a person books a visit, they directly contribute to restoring the environment through the planting of a native tree.
Driven by the Asociación Civil Mbya en Turismo, in partnership with Fundación Ecologista Verde and the Ministry of Tourism of Misiones.
Every experience includes the possibility to compensate the footprint generated by the travel throug the program Sustainable Roots (Raíces Sostenibles).

Each tree planted is part of a wider ecosystem restoration process. This is not a symbolic form of compensation, but a concrete action that remains in the territory.
The nursery in the Yasy Porã community is the inspiration behind the entire program. It shows how Guaraní knowledge, passed down from generation to generation, can be combined with current practices to create a positive impact. From this experience, Sustainable Roots aims to replicate and strengthen nurseries in different Mbya communities.
